The Lovely Bones
The story of a young girl who is murdered by a soft-spoken serial-killer in the neighbourhood. After death, instead of ‘moving on’, she continues to linger and observes how her family deals with the tragedy and tries to apprehend her killers while he skillfully covers his tracks, misleads the police and prepares to spring his trap on another innocent soul.
The Princess and the Frog
A classic fairytale that tells the story of an arrogant and care-free Prince Naveen and a hardworking waitress Tiana. Their paths cross when the former is transformed into a frog by a conniving voodoo magician. In an attempt to restore the prince to human form, Tiana kisses the amphibian royalty only to be changed into a reptile herself. Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief
Taken from Rick Riordan's book about a 12 year old demi-god, the big screen adaptation of Percy Jackson follows the teenage son of Poseidon (played with suitable magnificence by Rome's Kevin McKidd) who is accused by long-lost uncle Zeus (Sean Bean) of stealing his fiercest weapon – the lightning bolt. Setting out to prove his innocence, and rescue his kidnapped mum from the clutches of Hades (played as Saxondale Jr. by Steve Coogan), Percy must facing off against various ancient foes.
Valentine's Day
It's Valentine's, Actually. A starry ensemble cast play out the most romantic day of the year – with couples ranging from the normal-seeming Anne Hathaway and Topher Grace, the annoyingly perfect (the now defunct Taylor Squared) to verging on the ridiculous (Jessica Alba and wisecracking florist Ashton Kutcher), through the cutesie pairing of a small boy in love with his primary school teacher (played by Jennifer Garner). Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel
David Seville sends Alvin, Simon, and Theodore off to school, saying it's good for them. Little did he know, the Chipmunks feel like Chipmunks Out of Water because of all the (human) kids around. Meanwhile, Ian Hawke (after the loss of the Chipmunks dealt him a serious blow) searches the world for animals who can sing and dance. He happens upon the Chipettes and cannot wait to make them famous and get revenge on the Chipmunks.
Where The Wild Things Are
An adaptation of Maurice Sendak's legendary children's story in which Max, a disobedient little boy, is sent to bed by his mother without any supper. Feeling hurt and unloved, he channels his anger, and instead of continuing his mischievious antics in his room, he creates his own imaginary world which includes a forest, a massive ocean and a small boat, which he uses to sail away to a land inhabited by monsters - Wild Things - who crown him king.

Grace and her children are left in mourning after her marine husband is reported missing in action but things start to look up for the family when his low-life brother steps in to bridge the chasm left by his apparent death.
