Oliver - Queens Theatre, Hornchurch, March 2007
The inaugural production of Oliver by the Lennox Childrens Cancer Charity was staged at the Queens Theatre Hornchurch in March 2007. With a fabulous set on a huge stage and playing to sell-out audiences, the production and its amateur cast did the original 1960s show proud.
With timeless classics such as It's a Fine Life and I'll Do Anything, the musical numbers were expertly performed by the adults and children alike - and the knowledgeable
audiences greatly appreciated the performances.
The show was performed with two sets of children playing the lead parts
- all of whom gave superb performances especially the vocals and dance routines.
