The Spiderwick Chronicles

Before long things start to disappear and odd accidents around the house become more and more regular; the adventurous and short-tempered Jared gets the blame for the unexplained occurences. It is not until he explores further with his brother and sister that the truth begins to unfold; there is a fantastical whole other world of faeries living with the on the estate.
The Eye
Sydney Wells is an accomplished, independent, Los Angeles-based concert violinist. She is also blind, and has been so since a childhood tragedy. As our story opens, Sydney undergoes a double corneal transplant, a surgery she has waited her whole life to have, and her sight is restored. As Sydney's family and friends begin to doubt her sanity, she becomes convinced that her new eyes have somehow opened the door to a terrifying world only she can now see. In Bruges
Bruges, the most well-preserved medieval city in the whole of Belgium, is a welcoming destination for travellers from all over the world. But for hit men Ray and Ken, it could be their final destination; a difficult job has resulted in the pair being ordered right before Christmas by their London boss Harry to go and cool their heels in the storybook Flemish city for a couple of weeks. Very much out of place amidst the gothic architecture, canals, and cobbled streets, the two hit men fill their days living the lives of tourists. Ray, still haunted by the bloodshed in London, hates the place, while Ken, even as he keeps a fatherly eye on Ray's often profanely funny exploits, finds his mind and soul being expanded by the beauty and serenity of the city. But the longer they stay waiting for Harry's call, the more surreal their experience becomes, as they find themselves in weird encounters with locals, tourists, violent medieval art, a dwarf American actor shooting a European art film, Dutch prostitutes, and a potential romance for Ray in the form of Chloë, who may have some dark secrets of her own. And when the call from Harry does finally come, Ken and Ray's vacation becomes a life-and-death struggle of darkly comic proportions and surprisingly emotional consequences.

Son of Rambow
Will is growing up in the eighties in a a fatherless Plymouth Brethren family. The Brethren follow a strict moral code and as such young Will has been denied access to TV, music, film and other such worldy activities that most 10 year old boys may partake in. Instead he has learnt that he is part of God's 'chosen ones' and gone to school to learn a selected curriculum. Whilst in school he forms an unexpected friendship with school trouble-maker and outcast, Lee Carter over a mutual love of a pirated copy of Rambo: First Blood. After seeing the film, Will's naturally active imagination and creative streak begin to break through. He and Lee set in motion their very own Rambo film, complete with stunt scenes performed by young Will. Their ultimate plan is to deliver a succession of home-made videos to their young classmates. The plan goes well and their popularlity increases until the arrival of French exchange student, Didier Revol, threatens their friendship and forces them to look a little closer at reality.
Fool's Gold
Ben 'Finn' Finnegan, a good-natured, surfer bum-turned-treasure hunter who is obsessed with finding the legendary 18th century Queens Dowry -- 40 chests of exotic treasure that was lost at sea in 1715. In his quest, Finn has sunk everything he has, including his marriage to Tess Finnegan and his more-rusty-than-trusty salvage boat, Booty Calls. Just as Tess has begun to rebuild her life, working aboard a mega-yacht owned by billionaire Nigel Honeycutt, Finn discovers a vital clue to the treasures whereabouts. Certain that his luck will change with the newfound information, Finn maneuvers himself aboard Nigels yacht and, using his good-natured charm, convinces the tycoon and his Blackberry-wielding, celebutante daughter, Gemma, to join him in the pursuit of the Spanish treasure. Against Tess better judgment, the search rekindles her love of discovery. But they are not the only ones after the treasure. Finns mentor-turned-nemesis Moe Fitch has also set out to claim the prize.
The Game Plan

A great deal more upbeat than some of Mike Leigh's recent offerings, 'Happy-Go-Lucky' follows Poppy, a cheery Londoner through a few weeks of her life one springtime. Outside of her work as a primary school teacher, Poppy's love life flourishes with a social worker, she visits her uptight sister and takes driving lessons with Scott who is the complete opposite to her continually joyful and upbeat self. It is the life of an unusually happy woman, who the camera follows intensely.
Dan in Real Life
Dan works as a relationship expert. He offers advise in the newspaper and has written books on the subject, yet in real life, he struggles to cope. He is a brother, a son and a single parent to three daughters. Will the people who rely upon Dan's advice realise that in really, Dan should be receiving it, not giving it?

It's Christmas Eve, Angela Bridges, an ambitious young executive, works late before she leaves for her family's holiday party. When she gets down to the parking garage, she discovers that her car won't start. Her garage is deserted and her cell phone doesn't get a signal underground.
